Flowers of May.....

After doing the Boho Modern window a couple of weeks ago, the feedback has been more than we expected. The blue armoire sold the first day (with the promise to keep it displayed for a few weeks longer) and we still get inquiries on it everyday. The "Turquoise Window" was very beautiful, but people were waiting for a change--they have become used to our monthly changing windows! With this new window, we could not solidify a design that we would love. We wanted something light and inviting--something happy. In an attempt to be inspired by a colour palette, I had found a piece of fabric and fell in love with the palette of soft pink, butter yellow, apple green and crisp white. Reupholstering an antique chair in a rich creamy brocade fabric was a beautiful contrast to the rich wood tones of the piece. A sparkling mirrored end table reflects the white hobnail vase filled with faux green apples and the cherry blossom tree. The sweet yellow and crisp white Chinoiserie lamp is playfully accessorized with a yellow ball fringe shade. We love the simplicity of this window and hope you will too.
